Tales tell of stalwart heroes who dared to defy the masses. Heroes whose resolve was derived from their desire to change the flawed society in which they lived. Though sometimes, mistaken for villains, cast into a life of infamy, make no mistake: their desire to one day serve the greater good is the only thing that matched their blasphemies. Their heresy and justice will not go unheard. A Cadence For Heresy brings these tails and the honor of those heretics to life in melodic fashion, truly living up to title of Cadence.
One such tale began with Sir Robert 2 Step. He set out on a journey to conquer the infamous dragon, Buffalo-Metalus, in the dragon's lair at Mount Arpeggio, using his ear shattering Battle Cry of Cruelty and the Roar of Zeus to ward off any fiends and instantly possess even the fairest of women. Fortunately, fellow adventurer, Victor the Burninator, also had a desire to defeat the creature. Together, they would set out on their quest and with Sir Robert 2 Step's mighty battle cries, and Victor the Burninator's Mighty Battle Axe of Might, whose axe head was so large, it was said to take the heads of an entire pit of scenesters in one fell swoop, they hoped to tame the proverbial beast. For, the task would not be an easy one, and they would need more manpower to take down the monster. While venturing out through the deepest bowls of the African Plains, the two would come upon a most formidable ally, The Dark Knight, Mark Franklin. From this point forward, the three would travel as one, and The Dark Knight would use his Fearsom Battle Hammer of the Abyss to strike down any foe who stood in their way. From the gothic, vermin infested Ire of Tatsquare to feeble foes of Scenester Valley, they would trek onward, never losing site of their common goal. But, despite how brutal the group had become, they were still no match for the guards at the Gates of Icon. As fate would have it, our heroes would stumble upon a pair of wayward travelers who were as brave as lions and as fearsome as sharks. One of which, Anthony, Slapper of Hoe's, would provide an essential boost to the front lines with his Lute of Incineration, which would call forth the wrath of the Heathen Gods to melt the faces of any foe who dare stand in his way. The other brave hero, the mighty Kurtis of the Death Throne swore to lend his dangerous Wands of the Bass Bomb to aid their cause and help slay the behemoth dragon. With their combined efforts and individual talents, the five would cast their metal reign across the land on their eternal quest to take down the mighty dragon and conquer the land of Metalus. And so the legend of A Cadence For Heresy begins.
