Acousticizing Metal Songs

mamosa

I know I do this a lot, and I think the result is quite nice, but I just want to know if anyone else does this too.

Quite often I'll play a metal song on an acoustic (editing certain parts, of course) and since lots of metal has a really nice melody, as long as the song is transitioned properly into acoustic music, it sounds really good.

So, favorite metal songs to acousticize? I guess it could also be a rock song....

Some of mine are:
1. Regret Not by All That Remains
2. Over And Over by Three Days Grace
3. Wayward One by Alter Bridge

I have lots more that I can't recall right now.... Post yours.

I have an acoustic with a very short scale and I use very loose nylon strings. I play a lot of As Blood Runs Black on it and sounds pretty good, for an acoustic.
