Aeon is a Swedish brutal death metal band whose lyrical themes are based on strong anti-Christian beliefs. Tommy Dahlström, Johan Hjelm, Arttu Malkki, and Zeb Nilsson formed Aeon from the band Divine Desecration (1993-1999). Eventually Malkki and Hjelm left the band, leaving Aeon with just two original members. Line-up problems have plagued the band: in 2007 drummer Nils Fjellström joined the band Dark Funeral and elected to go on their tour, forcing Aeon to cancel the tour where they would have played with Cannibal Corpse and others
