I liked MCR from way back - I got taken to one of their first shows in NY when I was just 12, and that was one of those formative experiences you have.

I just hate a lot of their really cultish fans. I used to post on imnotokay.net, but stopped when the masses of obsessive fans really started getting up my arse.

They are one of the bands that influenced me to play guitar! I love their energy and Gerard's Comic Book!

MCR is unbelievable. Hard working? They released their second album just four years after they graduated high school. If that isn't hard working then i dont know what is.

jammyrat.... this is what i say "some people out there seem to truly hate mcr... there are others who completely love them, and there are the people who understand why others may love and/or hate mcr. that's who this groups represents."

they are also VERY influential to me too... i'm just trying to get to a middle ground with people who don't really enjoy mcr, but think they're pretty good.
