Somehow I knew I was going to find a group for OBE's here, I heard Astral Projection also helps open your third eye that allows you to think more clearly, and be more creative witch im sure would help with playing guitar.

It appears as if it's by destiny that I stumbled upon this group.

I'm kind of interested in lucid dreaming right now. I have about 3-4 per week. It's pretty cool. I usually forget to keep reminding myself that I'm dreaming, so I eventually just go along with the dream. I have to work on that...

I found this site that had a good explaination for astral projection. The site actually helped me figure out that I wasn't crazy lol. It had a few good methods to achieve astral projection but then I lost it and could never find it again.

i've allways wanted to try to project but had no idea where to start. this seems like quite a helpful area.

Think outside the box. You are conscious (aware of being aware) of whatever you FOCUS on. Yakult when you meditate what do you focus yourself on? I think the Hera is good, but I like hearing other peoples techniques =D

tilinonmyowngrave i'm pretty sure if something happened to ur physical body that was important like if you experienced pain or you couldn't breathe or something you'd be snapped out of it like if you were asleep most people wake up if they're like, thumped or something XD

So if you project yourself, are you actually in control of where you project yourself to? like... could i theoretically see whats in the fridge without going there kinda thing?

And yeah, would i be conciously aware of whats happening to my physical self?

has anyone been in a trance state with their eyes open? id imagine that would be incredibly hard to maintain.. especially if you were aware of the state you were in.. but just wondering :D

CaptainOfSmug are you talking about salvia? I've had some crazy trips on that, and I'd say they're a lot like projecting, you're just not as in control. If I had to put money on it, I'd say that it takes you to the same place (whether you believe it's the astral plane or whatever) but it's less controlled because of the drug. It's definately something that's worth exploring (it's legal, only lasts about 5 minutes, there's no side effects and it's not addictive, although OBVIOUSLY I'm not recommending it because that would be irresponsible of me </disclaimer> )

eh drug induced astral projections are not always the best ones ive heard. keep the drugs out of your body and project by learning to meditate then release your astral body from you physical one..it wont take much longer

Oh dang I thought this was for the techno band haha. But since I'm here, I recently acquired some big seed that is supposed to give lucid dreams and is african and was what shamans used. Anyone know what this is? Or how do I smoke it or whatever?
