I love the original comfortably numb solos but i love even more his modern day live performances of the song. But my favorite gilmour sloing is off the 'Animals' album. Dogs is just, quite simply, amazing, and he turns 'Pigs' from a Water's song into a true Pink Floyd classic. |

Animals is a damn sweet piece of work. I would have to agree with the "Dogs" solos, although I also love the "Time" solo, and would also consider the "Shine On" slide guitar as a solo, and an incredible one at that. "Echoes" from Pompeii features a nice solo, while "Comfortably Numb" is definately a classic. The solo off of P.U.L.S.E is brilliant. |

:2 solo from Another Brick in the Wall prt2
:3 solo #2 from comfortably numb this one cuts though me like a knife and brings a tear to my eye.
4: solo's ish guitar work on Echoes from live at pompeii!
5: solo's in whish you were here parts I - IX especially the slide guitar in the later.
Their are so many more good ones (Animals) but these are my top fav I think. |
