Pathetic... Bojan is scoring though. One in the cup and now one goal for the u-21 team. He really should play instead of Ronaldinho who's doing nothing right at the moment.

BOO! Lost 2-0 against Getafe.
Absolutely terrible display. No midfield, and absolutely no defence.
Zambrotta got sent off for a tackle that was hardly a yellow.
No Barca player made any impact whatsoever.

1-1 against Valladollid... What are they doing?!:(

True, even though they played pretty bad against Almeria they won. Ronaldinho did another below decent performance. Dos Santos was real good. Was behind both of the goals and Messi was great the last 15 minutes as he came on as a sub.

0-0 not good enough at all...hopefully they'll shape up. They won yesterday, which is good... Henry, back of the net!

Bah 0-0 against Rangers ain't good. Ronaldinho and Henry looked far from good...
Time to sell Ronaldinho? I can't really see how we can give him more chances. He is performing below decent game after game now....

FM...Football Manager? Nah, I never got into the managing games... Pro Evo, yeah. But I left my XBox 360 back in Ireland so I can't play much of anything, ha!

Yeah, well I prefer Argentina:) Seen Lavezzi in Napoli? Amazing talent. Had never heard of him prior to this season and he's outstanding:)

Was a short documentary about Barcekonas academy tonight in swedish tv. Apparently all their training is with ball. Not one is without a ball. Pretty amazing philosophy there. It's really amazing to read about that academy and it's talents it has produced.

You play FM by any chance?:)

It's fantastic to see all the young talents come up. Especially the Brazilians, I've read lots of articles about how they come up through the ranks in Brazil and it's really really tough going, so to see all these new stars come up is brilliant.

Thumbs up to Michél Platiní for getting so behind it.

Meeh:) Bojan> Dos Santos. Real great to see they both have gotten each a point so early. Bojan 1 goal and Giovani 1 assist. I really love to see young talents develop:)

Prette impressing that in the game against Atletico a few weeks ago Barcá ended the game with 8 La Masia products in the team:) And not too shabby players neither, Valdés, Puyol, Oleguer, Xavi, Iniesta, Messi, Dos Santos, Bojan:)

Child In Time wrote on Oct 21st, 2007 10:51pm

Yeah, he really is an outstanding player... I see what you're saying about Henry needing a bit of time, but I just hope he doesn't turn out like Crespo, Shevchenko etc. at Chelsea.

Still, if I'd been Henry, I would've stayed at Arsenal. Barça have an amazing team this year...Abidal, Messi, Henry, 'dinho, Eto'o, Deco and Dos Santos..

Izz wrote on Oct 21st, 2007 10:47pm

True, but have in mind he haven't played football for about 6-8 months prior to the games this season with Barcá and he'll need some time to gel with the team. But I too am a little doubtful about him. I'd rather see Eto'o Messi Ronaldinho... But Ronaldinho is short of form now... Hopefully he'll get back soon.

Amazing that he still made about 35 points last year when having a real off-season according to everyone:)

Child In Time wrote on Oct 21st, 2007 10:39pm

Haha... being a huge Juve fan, I love Trézéguét, but he's on his way down.

I thought Henry to Barça was an awful move. He's not really that sort of player. I watched him a few weeks ago when he scored two goals...he was ok, but nothing impressive (unlike Messi's goal that night)

Izz wrote on Oct 21st, 2007 10:25pm

Yeah, they have some of the best players in the world to be honest.

Hmm, I was a bit sceptical about Henry before the season actually started but as Eto'o got injured I'd say it was a great transfers. He hasn't been great but good. 3 goals in La Liga and 1 in CL is pretty good.
And I think he will give the younger strikers some more experience to gain from.

I heard that Henry said about Bojan that he got more of a killer instinct in front of the goal than David Trezeguet got:)
