Jonjy2 wrote on Feb 8th, 2008 8:59pmWe can always rob a bank? ... Ok not a good idea..
But I'm sure we can do this. The wristband idea kicks ass if anyone knows where to get them made. I would totally buy one; two; maybe even three :
Seriously, this could be so epic we should put everything into this dude. quote |
ManWithoutAHat wrote on Feb 8th, 2008 5:54amFroddy is right, but obviously they're active to have joined the group. We doubt the target number will be reached, but we want to see how close we can get before we start worrying about alternative methods. Step 1: Recruit as many as possible. Step 2: find out who will actually donate money, and as I see it all members will because it's very clear that is what this group is all about. Once we know how much money we have from member donations we will move on to sponsorship and other forms of fund raising. quote |

shadowtiger wrote on Feb 8th, 2008 12:45amI would love to buy the missile silo, a place for all us UGers to get wasted and wipe out some foreign city in Europe quote |
RedDeath9 wrote on Feb 8th, 2008 12:28amWow, 750 members.
I still doubt we'll be able to get 100,000 users, most of the 500,000 aren't even active. Then you have to realize how many people are actually serious about donating money. quote |
peterom11 wrote on Feb 7th, 2008 11:22pmDoes anyone think this will actually happen? quote |

Froddy wrote on Feb 7th, 2008 6:17pm*sigh*
I was thinking about this good ol' missile silo business today and the thought dawned on me. A start's been made but we are still a long, long way off. Plus, how many of the group's members are regular, active members of UG?
Sorry to be negative and all, but if this thing is to become realistic, it's best to be a realist when looking at the situation. quote |
ManWithoutAHat wrote on Feb 7th, 2008 5:26pmIf we were kidding we wouldn't be the most popular group on UG right now.
Oh god, what have I created?!? quote |

captainjackass wrote on Feb 2nd, 2008 3:10amOr maybe those rubber wristbands that seem to be so popular? Its for a cause, and alot easier to wear. Also you can wear them everyday, that way people ask what it is and find out about it...
SILOFEST UNDERGROUND
or simply
SILOFEST 08 quote |
ManWithoutAHat wrote on Feb 1st, 2008 5:09amT-shirts and other merch is a good idea, but it would be best to do when we have some money because making the t-shirts costs money. This isn't a bad thing though, I believe you have to spend money to make money and that's true. If we sell Silofest t-shirts online, people will buy them. quote |
