Silofest needs a face. We might use some kind of logo for GuitarPicks and Banners/Flyers.
Unfortunately, the logo needs to be, well, good. Cant MS Paint our way through this one men.

I say, since its a silo we come up with a sweet biohazard or nuclear logo. Just an idea since it fits the silo theme. I am only good with paper and pencil on drawing and thats all (except ms paint haha) |

How about a skull and crossbones design, but instead of a skull a biohazard sign, and instead of crossbones, missiles?

That seems to be a pretty metal suggestion. Not everyone (yours truly included) are very into some kind of death from above kind of thing. But we can still go in that vein: for example, the peace sign was invented to be a nuclear disarmament symbol (its a combination of semaphore signals I think). And that's just an example. I think the missile theme is not only good, but obvious and probably necessary, but the death thing seems like it would narrow expectations. |

an idea
i think a guitar pick or something related to a guitar is a little.... un creative or childish (no offense). Since this is a missle silo you could relate it to war, the cold war, soviets, etc. Its more catchy and less generic than a guitar pick.

we need to have SOMETHING related to music in the logo. it could have something to the affect of a war of music. but i do think incorperating a musical aspect into this is important if its going to be a venue. but likewise we need an aspect of war or missiles. i like the radioactive idea though. |

well i like the one with the black symbol better. its a damn good symbol but like whats his face said, you will most likely get sued for that logo. we can either ask dean for their approval (preferably AFTER we get them as a sponser) or we can use different guitars that arent specifically trademarked by any company.
(dean guitars look the coolest though) |
