So, he's survived the alps, the harsh rainforests of Panama, and even the dry desert of the Sahara, but can he survive anywhere? Do you think he would be able to survive at a different location; a location where he hasn't covered yet?
Post here and explain why you choose that location, and some of the difficulties he would face.

Open Ocean
Bear would be in the open water. He'd either be showing how to survive a plane crash, or a sinking boat. Either way, one of the main problems would be surviving after the initial wreck.
Why?
Every year, thousands of tourists are stranded, and sometimes die, in the open ocean before rescuers could reach them. An example would be that of the Titanic... This is probably the most difficult place to survive. If we were stranded there, how would we get through the ordeal?
Problems
Well, water is one. The water around him is undrinkable, as there are high amounts of NaCl (Salt) ionized in the water, so if he drinks it, he'll become even thirsty as he dehydrates more.
Another one would be food. How would he be able to fish if he doesn't have any conventional tools or methods. He can't spot animals down in the water very easily.
Staying afloat is a problem as well. How long can he stay floating, or if so, how would he find material to stay floating? How would we make a makeshift raft from the wreckage material?
Storms and the forces of nature would be against him. Sure, maybe the rain would help with the water problem, but what about the huge waves that would tear him apart? What about the hungry sharks and other animals below, just waiting to eat him. How would he fend them off?
Conclusion
I am almost certain that Bear wouldn't be able to survive in the open ocean long enough to reach land or help. This is the only environment in which Bear can't survive. |
