Bill Frisell is a jazz guitarist from Baltimore. He uses his his seemingly disparate influences (noise music, country,folk,world music) to create a seamless, harmonious blend of awesomeness. He has played with such musical greats as Paul Motian,John Zorn (in the band Naked City which pretty much invented grind core),Ryuichi Sakamoto, and Ron Carter. He also won a Grammy for best Contemporary Jazz album, for his album Unspeakables. His latest album, Disfarmer, was released in 2009.
