Some Darkthrone, Burzum, Gorgoroth (ealry stuff b4 destroyer and stuff as of 09.), IMMORTAL(my top recomedation for n e one btw.) then just look from there.
u can go on youtube and type in Black Metal Bands and stuff like that also.

I understand the Anti-Cradle policy, they're one of my favourite bands but it's true that they are not black metal... They're much closer to ''Gothic-Metal'' than anything else.
Black Metal's the only genre I'd choose to devote my music to, low production costs, intelligent snarled lyrics and a sinister, dark feel - If anyone could disagree with any of that, then they're obviously inbred and must be gassed.
Someone mentioned bass being a no-no in Black Metal... I think that bass is absent in nu-black metal but in first gen it was a huge feature of the genre. I think that Bass is something that should not be overlooked so easily, hence the reason why my bassist isn't forgotten in my band. quote |
