First Impression: Howlin' Wolf

Gregoriose	what was you first impression of Howlin' Wolf's music? if you haven't heard it its good stuff. get it listen to it.     mine was when I first heard "I asked for water (she gave me gassoline)" I thaught WTF. thats funny and at the same time a great blues song. edited by ze monsta for spelling. wholovesthesun	It's Howlin' Wolf by the way. Anyway, his music is this fantastic Chicago raunchy, nearly gutbucket sound that comes off as agressive as his voice. Definantly impossible to immitate. However the man himself was hypercompetitve and a general ass-hole. Watch videos of Skip James playing at the newport folk festival. You can see him off to the side looking pissed as hell.
