What do you prefer and why?
As for me, I bought PDA just for reading books on it. Sometimes it's hard to find some special book and buying books as much as I do is quite expensive. So now most of the books I download from Internet.
But sometimes I prefe r to have paper-v ersion of some bo ok in order to sh re it with friend or just make my bookshelf look be tter and me smate r)

Paper all the way. This is going to sound cheesy but I just loose that personal aspect that a book brings when I read it from a screen. |

I can't stand e-books, my eyes hurt and then I get too easily distracted. 'ooh, end of chapter, lets check my email. oh, someone left me a message, I'll just go reply.' Two hours later. 'Oh, lets get back to the book. I can't really be arsed now'. There's a lot of Doctor Who books on the net that I would like to read, but I find having paper books are just so much better so I don't read them. |

Paper books...e-books have no soul...you can't embrace that which you cannot hold in your own hands. |

I have no email's in Pocket PC, so nothing distracts me)
You know, sometimes finding certain book is not so easy, at least in my town. There are a lot of book stores, but if you want something rare you'll have ask your friends or bye it in the internet store. Delivery takes about one month (russian post service realy sucks ) and book will be more expensive. So one day I decided that I'm tired of this and bought Pocket PC. Now I've got accustomed and feel no difference netween e-book and paper one. You know, this is just a matter of habit... |

i wouldnt even consider e-books, unless there was something i just had to read, and it was the only option.

i love reading, and i cant imagine not having an actual book to hold in my hand. plus i love having a nice full bookshelf in my room. it just looks good. |

Paper books No Doubt..... i feel ashamed even typing about e-books as saying my computers in the library in my house.... LoL |

paper. occasionally I'll read something on the internet, but that's not very often. most of the time I get books from the library, unless it's one I know I'll read again. |

I'vve lost my Pocket PC Back to paper untill I buy new one. I spend about two hours in traffic jam's every day, and I used to read books during that time. A few weeks ago I've spent more than 3 hours standing in line in traffic police department, trying to get driving licence and all this time would be wasted, if I hadn't Pocket PC with me. It's very usefull. And I don't think that carring a few books everywhere I go would be good alternative. |
