Cancer Bats are a punk/metal band from Toronto, Ontario. They debuted in 2004 with their self-released, self-titled EP and later got signed to Distort Records and recorded the full-length album "Birthing The Giant". They have toured with bands such as Alexisonfire, Silverstein and NOFX and are now on tour again in Canada. Their second full-lenght just came out in April and features guest appearances by Wade Macneil (Alexisonfire), Tim McIlrath (Rise Against) and Ben Kowalewicz(Billy Talent).
