George Fisher or Chris Barnes?

metalheadrenzo

I personally like Corpse grinder better. He has a great dark and harsh voice and can really do his highs way better than Barnes. I personally like Corpse grinder better. He has a great dark and harsh voice and can really do his highs way better than Barnes.

This is an epic battle that i just cant decide between. Barnes is absolutely aweseom on songs like beyond the cemetary, butchered at birth, etc. His live performances of fucked with a knife are pretty fucking sick aswell. Fisher is good but live he can lose the lyrics and just start shouting. Like some songs off the bleeding, he just forgets the lyrics and shouts. But his performane on the wretched spawn is killer. And on some parts that are in 7/8 from songs like hatchet to head are pretty sick, how he keeps in time. But on the other hand barnes wrote both stripped raped and strangled and the pickaxe murders. So im undecided. By the way, head over to the official devourment website and you can download their cover of pickaxe for free, its pretty sick, jewski goes nuts haha This is an epic battle that i just cant decide between. Corpsegrinder. Not only are his lows awesome, but his highs are crazy. Don't get me wrong, I can't live without some Tomb of the Mutilated, but Kill and The Wretched Spawn are just legendary Corpsegrinder. Not only are his lows awesome, but his highs are crazy. Internal Chaos

Yeah, I'll have to say Corpsegrinder. Skull Full of Maggots, I Cum Blood, Hammer Smashed Face, all of those songs were hits, but I really don't think Barnes compares. Barnes and Fisher are both awesome in their own right. I think that Barnes was perfect for CC's old sound and Fisher is perfect for the new one. I couldn't imagine Tomb of the Mutilated, Eaten Back to Life or The Bleeding without Barnes... but judging by his work with SFU Webster did the right thing giving him the boot. i'm gonna have to say corpsegrinder. barnes is great but i feel his vocals were only really good on the bleeding(you can actually understand him). nowadays, barnes really isn't sounding that great, while corpsegrinder is still sounds awesome. i still love barnes though. i'm gonna have to say corpsegrinder. barnes is great but i feel his vocals were only really good on the bleeding(you can actually understand him). nowadays, barnes really isn't sounding that great, while corpsegrinder is still sounds awesome. i still love barnes though.

Corpsegrinder!!! Just take one listen to the scream in "They Deserve To Die"!!

Barnes' scream is more hollow and he has trouble holding it as long as George can. IMO Barnes' songs came alive when George sung them.

CORPSEGRINDER! I really liked Barnes stuff, but he didn't really bring anything new to the band after a while (lyrics were all similar and just wasn't as creative as the other members) Corpsegrinder does a great job though CORPSEGRINDER!

I think that it's good that they have had both.Barnes does his job extremely well on the older albums and Corpsegrinder as well on the newer CC -albums. You can't compare them, they're just so different : )

...And here is some serious shit for Barnes and Six Feet Under -fans:

Come here if you dare!!!
