You are so misinformed that it's not even funny. quote |
Sickhick wrote on Dec 8th, 2009 6:34pmThat last one messed up, but I meant to say that the gospels were not written by the disciples; they were passed down by word of mouth, therefore there are inconsistencies. The popes have credited the disciples, but the gospels were written down many years later. quote |

you all have gotta give up believing in imaginary friends one day. Just sayin.
Not the best way to word it, but he does have a point. You know, Jesus never claimed to be the son of god; the people who wrote the gospels lived generations after jesus's time; they didn't actually know him; and the only function of christianity was to oppress peasants since the time of Roman emperor Constantine, who actually remained a pagan all his life.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but a signifigant amount of the gospels were written by Jesus's disciples, who basically lived w/ him...and when Jesus was baptized by John God himself said...'This is my SON, and I am fully pleased with Him'...this is only one instance, and I'm sure I could find you some where Jesus says it as well. Just thought I'd throw that in there.

I would say "Most Creative" instead. I cant decide on As I lay Dying or August Burns Red, but that's just my opinion.
The Head's conversion is an amazing story in itself. As for best christian guitarist, I'd have to say Shane Blay.
I agree, great story. When it comes to guitarists, I'd definatley say Jb and Brent of August Burns Red. I'm sure theres others, August Burns Red just seems to exute there talent and creativity more. Ya know what I mean? |
Actually, I now regret posting something on the internet about who the 'best Christian guitarist ' is. lol. Sorry guys.

RED FAN #1 wrote on Oct 24th, 2009 3:14amalright i don know what happend with my last comment but it didnt go through. im not saying we're all going to hell(and i do have a personnal relatioship with God). i said if UR NOT SAVED. then yes it only takes once and u deserve to be in hell. all it takes is one sin. i guess a better way to word it woulda been. every time u sin ur not helping urself...ur just seperating urself furthur away from god...and anything thats further away from god is closer to hell. so yes if ur not saved ur already condemd to hell but every time u sin ur just seperating ur self from god. sorry but thats the reality. in revalation it says anybody who is not found in the book of life will be cast down into the eternal flames for and eternity(at least thats what mine says. now im NOT mad at u. im just trying to clear up some stuff which may have been confusing before. GOD BLESS!! quote |

all right look at it this way(keep in mind im 14)what happens when u break a rule in b-ball,hocky...etc? u get a penalty. what happens when u break the rules of God? u get a penalty...which unfortunantly if ur not a christian means hell...the second death. and im not sure about u but i think saying God doesnt exist is breaking the rules. all it takes is 1 time...thats it...the only way to get out of hell is to become a christian and TRUST the Lord to lead the way and to OBEY his commandments. just remember what ur doing next time u sin...ur seperting urself away from God and getting closer to hell.
That's not it at all. Each sin doesn't get you closer to hell. To not go to hell you have accept Jesus as your savior within your heart and follow him, which means not just having good intentions but actually establishing a personal relationship with him. It doesn't matter how many times you sin because we've been forgiv quote |
