I feel that song writers for heavy metal bands use parts of concertos that they tie into their riffs, choruses, and solos. If you listen very carefully to Ted Nugent, he ties inj bauch to his songs. I know that is not heavy anymore but still its a good example.  I feel that song writers for heavy metal bands use parts of concertos that they tie into their riffs, choruses, and solos. The Main thing is Theory. If you know that you can connect any music. Most musicians learn theory if they had a teacher. Some ,without a teacher, will teach it to themselves. Which is kinda hard. The Main thing is Theory. If you know that you can connect any music.
