The only trail I ride at the moment is the Des Plains River Trail. I get on it in Libertyville,IL and take it all the way to the end in Kenosha, WI. It's about 50 miles there and back.

Nothing special, but since I bike a lot, I thought I'de join this group.

Ah, that blows man.

I've never been actually mountain biking (I'm not that much of a risk taker), but I like taking mine off road and going into fields and stuff. :D

Excellent. Unfortunately at my parents' house, where I am at over summer, they switched cable providers and I don't get Versus anymore, which happens to be the only channel that airs the tour in the U.S. I guess I don't get to watch it this year.

I love cycling! @ weeks ago i did a 200km ride (over 2 days). First day was into a 30km/h headwind. THE WHOLE FUCKING DAY!! God that was brutal.

I'm trying to get back into cycling although my university studies mean I'm not doing as much as I would like.

I love just being able to go out into the countryside and explore as well. I'm normally a 'touring' cyclist although I do also do some road stuff myself.

Are you just a fan or a cyclist too? I used to be a pretty devout cyclist, although I haven't had much time for it last year. I'm getting back into it this summer though. I live close to the hills and I love just challenging myself by doing steep-ass climbs.

I'm a road-cyclist by the way. Screw mountain.

Yeah, but hopefully putting it in my sig will help get more members.

I can get L'Equipe so I can read the French side of things as well...
