The only disappointment from D'addario strings is that they don't have a set where the top 2 strings pull ~21-22 pounds :(

Reeeeaaally good acoustic strings. They sound sweet.

Their bass string are amazing. I got a bass used that had D'addario's on it, and I've had it for 3 months; I still haven't had to change the strings! As long as you keep them clean, they keep a pretty good tone.

I use D'Addario's mostly. Great stuff
i used dunlop kerry king strings that was shite

i used DR strings Dimebag issue they are very good too

I've been usingD'Addario strings for about 2 years now.
It never ceases to impress me. :)

I started using their strings 5 months ago. I'm still using the same strings I bought 5 months ago, they don't break :D They sound great too.

per-rock wrote on Dec 16th, 2008 5:33pm

the best strings ever

TWISTEDFender wrote on Dec 15th, 2008 1:53am

definitely the best i've ever used. and fuck GHS boomers, whoever suggested that. i've brought three seperate sets of them and broken a string while tuning every fucking time. worst strings evar.

I play D'Addario's exclusively. Mainly because I can't hear the difference between string brands, so I just stuck with the ones that I tried the first time.

Except i dont play D'Addario's, I use Ernie Ball, but I intend to try others next string change.

I really like D'addarios, my first choice of string since Elixirs cost so much, and they last almost as long. I like the way they feel a little beefier than other 9s to me.

my second choice strings are Rotosounds.

EZLN libertad wrote on Sep 1st, 2008 4:21am

have used them for my entire musical career
im proud to wear my d'addario hat \m/

oneblackened wrote on Aug 28th, 2008 11:01pm

D'addario's are pretty good, but I prefer GHS Boomers, because the single package of strings that D'addario's come in lets the strings occasionally get tangled.
