what tracks do you absolutely love?

*****

please follow this format to avoid confusion and to help out anyone else who might want to search for the track:

Artist Name - Track Name [Genre]

*****

you can include further information if you'd like, such as why you like the track, what mix you have heard it in, the record label it's released on, the lyrics, the year it was released, etc. in addition to the required information stated above, but please keep discussion to a minimum.

even if your main reason for posting in the thread is to comment on a track that someone else has mentioned, it's not that hard to think of a track you enjoy and would want to recommend to others and include that in your post.

all time favourites or songs you have just discovered are both welcome, but don't post a massive list in 1 post, pick one or two tracks that stand out and add more later in the thread.

k... GO!

my first contribution is:

John O'Callaghan ft. Audrey Gallagher - Big Sky [trance]

i first heard it when armin van buuren played it at his show here in melbourne in june and i think it's just a really lovely vocal trance track :) i get it stuck in my head a lot. you can have a listen on JOC's myspace if you're interested in hearing it.

Benga- Evolution (Dubstep)
Sick bassline, punchy drums, heavy ass for dancing

Loefah- Mud (dubstep)
DANK AS FUCK. Huge wobbling bass that I can even feel with iPod earbud, dark, and fucking wobbly.

Noisia- Block Control AND Exorcism (neurofunk/techstep drum & bass)
Heavy, long, and intense groove. Both have giant rolling basslines and drums that you can't NOT dance to.

Noisia- Gutterpump (House)
Fun as hell, awesome synth-lead drops, pumping, pounding bassline.

Seba- Soul 2000 (Intelligent drum & bass)
Wonderfully lush and airy, I was spacing out to it at lunch yesterday, and the girlfriend loves it.

Adam F- Circles (Intelligent drum & bass)
Deep, ever changing, good sampling, and so jazzy.

Grooverider- Where's Jack the Ripper (Intelligent/techstep drum & bass)
Fairly NOT like his other tracks, and arguably the first song in the dark, techy techstep style, this has both the depth of an intelligent d&b track, with the cold darkness of the evolving techstep.

Dom and Roland- Time (techstep drum & bass)
Dark and coldly ambient, Dom and Roland really knows his shit.

Alex Reece- Pulp Fiction (liquid funk drum & bass)
Pure groove

Goldie- Sea of Tears (intelligent drum & bass)
Smooth, sounds extremely like jazz fusion, excellent use of sampling

Prodigy- Voodoo People (big beat)
Just a dope-ass club banger

Skynet- Electrafunk (neurofunk drum n bass)
Just the raw essence of TB 303 basslines and drum n bass

Noisia- End Game (neurofunk drum n bass)
Atmospherics, bangin beats, big low end

Noisia & The Up Beats- Sacrifice (neurofunk drum n bass)
That reese bassline before the drop WILL MAKE YOU SHIT YOUR PANTS

BeCee & Lomax- Sky vs Spy (liquid funk drum n bass)
Funky, cool vocoding

Motorcycle - As the Rush Comes (Trance)
Just a seriously good chorus.

Stanton Warriors - Still Here ft. Eska (Nu Skool Breaks)
Bouncing bass, great touch of hip hop and variant mixtures of electronic and tech sounds

Telepopmusik - Breathe (Trip-Hop/Downtempo)
A classic all time favourite of mine. Pure escape music.

as the rush comes is a classic... lovely track but i'm sorta getting sick of hearing it at the end of the night though. it's like the cliched track to finish the last set of the night with. it works well for this purpose but doing it too often makes it lose it's charm.

my contribution:

Hardstyle Masterz feat. Max Enforcer - Light Of The Dark (The Blackout Dub) [hardstyle]

i cannot help but go INSANE when i hear this track. it's quite simple really but there's something about it that just clicks and makes me wanna dance like crazy! first heard it when Audio Damage played it at PHD, whilst i was sitting on the floor leaning against a speaker stack lol. the bass was intense, loved it memoriesssss...

Sequential 1 - Dreams (House Nation HN 157) House

Amazing track. I bought a lot of some random house vinyl just because it was cheap. And I found this. Everything about it is amazing, the melody is just so uplifting, and the drums are perfect. This track always cheers me up. I plan on buying another copy(or two) of this in mint condition.
