help me friend Vintage...
i like this girl..
i am almost 99% sure she liked me some time ago...
i didn't do anything coz a friend of mine had a major crash on her, and even if she told him off, he kept glued...
Now it has been almost half a year and i seem to like her again...

Ah, i forgot to mention, we don't talk anymore, partly because of the company split-up, partly because i happen to get easily mad on people over liitle things...
we are both invited to my best friend's party...
what can i do?

Okay. Here's the setup:

I just finished my sophomore year in college. I have an apartment that I'm sharing with a female friend of mine, who's a year ahead of me in school. And I have had a crush on her pretty much since I got to this school a year and a half ago.

And here's the question:

How bad an idea is it to get involved with her? It seems that if things fall apart after three months, I've still got nine on the lease, which could make things around the flat a bit unpleasant. it as bad an idea as I think it probably is to try and start something? Should I just resign myself to 'look but don't touch?'

hello ladies, i need some suggestions here.

its my wifes birthday this saturday, and she's dropped the hints that she kinda wants a big fuss. big production!

but i'm sort of at a loss. we have some friends coming over in the evening, so dinners or movies out at night won't really work.

what are some cool things i could do for her?

thanks in advance!

Hello, UG ladies,
I kinda need some help. I want to know what sort of things impress girls my age (high -school), or at least can get me noticed. I'm pretty much the quietest guy in my school, so I have absolutely no idea what to do. Any tips would be great, thanks in advance.

That bit at the end was supposed to read

Thanks for hanging in there, will check back sometime soon. Thanks!

Hey Saadia, I told you I would post, and I never disappoint! :p:

I am chatty and flirty with this girl in my year, she's great and we get on great together...but there's a catch...she went out with one of my best mates for a while but it didn't end good between them, so its dodgy :(

The story there is that my mate was pure mad about her for ages, then they finally went out about a year and a half ago but then he said to everybody he shagged her (I don't really care if they did tbh ) and thats how it ended bad obviously...but until recently he was still mad about her (even if he did self-destruct the relationship, like seriously, why did he do that after finally getting to go out? who knows :o ) but it looks like he's moved on, he likes someone else and looks like they might start goin out soon. So what do you gals advise? I quite like her and we get on great, but I run the risk of pissing off my mate who is a bit temperamental and a bit immature at times (as demonstrated by his blabbing ;) )

Thanks for h

me and this girl recently found out that we both liked eachother
and we said we'd go out on a trial basis
but it didnt work out
so, now were back to being friends
but i really want to give it another try
so, how do you say that you want to give it another try?

ARCtrooper225 and valennic, you have both been replied to.

George, you can join, and I cant stop you from giving advice :p But certain biological traits of your's might keep me from permitting you to be an official advisor for the UG Ladies group lol

I wish i could have found this group SO much earlier.

Hey ladies, i need some serious help. Theres this girl at my school that i really like, the thing is, ive become her best friend. Like her VERY best friend. The guy shes going out with is 23, shes 15, and hes never there for her. Shes come very close to kissing me on several occasions, i have no idea what stopped her though, Ive let her borrow my phone to talk to her bf before, but whenever i hear the words
"i love you" come out of her mouth, its pure torture.....liking her is tearing me apart...and i really dont know what to do. I like her, were very close, but im afraid i have no chance with what do i do???

ARCtrooper225 wrote on May 14th, 2008 2:37am

Hey ladies. There's this girl in school who, in my opinion, is definitely the cutest here. Anyways, I've only met her once, a long time ago, and never talk to her. It's not like we share any classes or something that would give me some chance of talking to her. I would approach her just to try and "meet" her again, but I'm shy as hell, and it just seems like a really sketchy thing to do. Any advice please?

vintage x metal wrote on May 13th, 2008 10:20pm

Insicion and af_the_fragile, you have both been replied to. turning blue, it looks like you've already got your situation cleared out =] If you still feel like you need advice, you can message me personally

vintage x metal wrote on May 13th, 2008 10:03pm

turning blue wrote on May 13th, 2008 at 1:25pm :

thank you brother, and that's what I ended up leaning towards. I wrote her and apologized for being so forward. We've since had a good talk and agreed that the friendship is the most important thing right now (which it definitely is) and if things change in the future for her and I'm still around, then we'll see what happens then.

Well, that was very mature and respectable! Looks like you dont need our help, you've already got the mind of a gentleman =]
