Cliff Williams or Mark Evans?

playinbass1432

Who do you think is a better bass player? I personally Cliff absolutely crushes Mark in every way possible. But Mark did have his moments, like High Voltage and uhhh...yeah just High Voltage then.

I love Cliff Williams style and skills better than Mark Evans. I do agree, Mark had his moments once in a while, but overall Cliff Williams was a better bassist in my opinion. Not to mention that Cliff has been playing for over a decade longer than Mark. True, Mark did write the bass for Squealer, but Cliff did Love Hungry Man, Gimme A Bullet, Sink the Pink (Really have to listen hard in that one, though. He does some sweet slides at the beginning), Satellite Blues, Cover You In Oil, the list goes on and on and on. And Mark never did any back up vocals, when he was in the band it was Malcolm and Phil who did the back up vocals. Not to mention that Cliff has been playing for over a decade longer than Mark.
