Umm...I don't really know how to send stuff, haha. Check out the videos that Mucki posted in the thread above, though. Those are all new songs, including the 3 that they played at Coachella. Some of them, Savior in particular, are better quality than the video I have.

By the way, thanks a lot for posting those, Mucki! You're a stud and deserve to be hoisted.

I have a video of their full performance at Coachella, where they played 3 new songs. No word whether or not these songs will appear on the new album for sure. They were strange, in my opinion. More upbeat than what we're used to from Dredg.

Do you mind sending it to me?

Damn, I should have found this group earlier. I´m interrested in the new album, also. I hope it´ll be as good as Leitmotif and El Cielo. Catch without Arms was a great Album, too, but somehow I didn´t like it as much as the other ones.

im seeing them again in a few weeks. i saw them in san luis obispo and the entire time i smelled weed. i realized halfway through the set that it was Drew smoking in between each song. cant wait to see how much he smokes this time. haha

I saw them when they were touring with Coheed and I was floored. I had heard them before that, but their performance made me love them. There were difficulties with Mark's setup, but the singer improvised a lap steel instrumental that was just gorgeous...and then Mark came back with a vengeance!

I'm glad to hear the new stuff is good. It's been a while since Catch Without Arms. I can't wait to hear some new stuff. These poor quality Youtube videos aren't good enough.

Mark's main effect is a delay pedal. I think he has several different kinds, I know one of them is a Boss delay though. If you wanna get a similar sound, use a delay pedal or effect through your amp's clean channel, and turn the level up really high, set the delay time to about a quarter of a second, and the feedback around mid level.

Wow this is amazing, I thought I was like the only kid here who heard of them. Yea I saw them live they were amazing but Mark screwed up the guitar intro to Jamais Vu which made me laugh. The new stuff I have heard is amazing, I was wondering if anyone here knows what effects the guitar uses just in general or specific what ever info you have.

Well, they're still working on the new album. They took a LOT of time writing material, and this is evident if you go to one of their more recent shows. I haven't been to a show of theirs in a long time, but they've been demoing new stuff they've written, which includes anything from full songs to straight-up jams and instrumentals, as well as half-songs like The Warbler. It's pretty much up in the air what's going to be on the album, but they're looking at a first half of 2008 release, which means they must be recording, or they will be soon.

Ah, a Dredg group. Nice. Anyone have new info on their new album? I haven't really kept up with them lately. I know they're playing some shows in CA. Damn them! :p:
