MOOSE_CCR99 wrote on Nov 30th, 2008 1:41amI finally played a blues jr today...it was heaven, deffinatly getting it for xmas. they had a red one there (alright looking i guess) and a tweed special one (the one with the jensen in it) is the extra money for the tweed special worth it? the normal one sounded good so i dunno if its worth it for the jensen. comments? quote |
MOOSE_CCR99 wrote on Nov 28th, 2008 8:54pmOk, I guess cant officially be a member yet... but christmas is coming and im almost positive im asking for a blues JR, (i just have to try one first :S..) The reasons im thinking blues jr are the famous fender cleans (I play mostly blues & jazz stuff) and its a smaller amp so i assume itll be good for practicing at low volumes? Right now im only a bedroom player so i want somthing that can be quiet enough for discrete practise but able to compete with drums once I start jammin with people. Is the blues JR the amp for me?
ps. I think itll go nicely with my new fender aerodyne strat quote |

Have any of you guys ever played using the Fender Champion 600 5-watt tube amp? It sounds amazing. I haven't had a chance to try it out personally though. I'd love to use it for recording! |
It wasn't bad, I couldn't get any od at 12, but I was using bad cables.
