After his departure from Helloween, Kai Hansen (Guitarist/Vocalist) formed Gamma Ray in 1988. After their first three albums, their vocalist left the band, Kai has been singing ever since, Gamma Ray is one of the few bands that seem to get better and better as the years go on.
