Drop D Tuning

Drop D
DADGBE

Alright, here is how you tune your guitar into *Drop D* (DADGBE), from *Standard* (EADGBE).
Tune the *E String* down a *half a step*, (two frets). For easy tuning, Hold the *7th fret* on the
*E string* and hit the *A string* open until they sound the same.
You can now do a *Power Chord* with one finger.

If you do not know what a *Power Chord* is then you probably shouldn't be trying to tune into
*Drop D*. But, here's an example of a *Power Chord* in *Standard* Tuning (EADGBE).
(in a tablurature)

E|--------
B|--------
G|--------
D|--5-5-7
A|--5-5-7
E|--3-3-5

And this is an example of a *Power Chord* in *Drop D* (DADGBE), they sound the same as the example above.
(in a tablurature)

E|--------
B|--------
G|--------
D|--5-5-7
A|--5-5-7
D|--5-5-7

Well good luck.

Keep Rippin.
