Consert Song choices

Ok. so, my drummer wants to play all of these nice songs. It's so weird. He doesnt want to play the awesome songs that have an awesome, simple, but effective guitar line, but he does want to play songs that you can relax to. We are trying to put on a concert for my high school, but if all he wants to play is nice songs, who's going to want to hear more of us or even stay for the whole show? We have a cool style, and we can make some really nice hard rock, but he just wants to play soft relaxing songs. NO!!! What do you think?

what you've got to remember mate is that some people like chilled out music - jack johnson fans and things like that. if thats not what you want to do though then maybe one of you is in the wrong band. i reckon you should talk to him - tell him what the deal is, and see what he says. what you've got to remember mate is that some people like chilled out music - jack johnson fans and things like that. if thats not what you want to do though then maybe one of you is in the wrong band. i reckon you should talk to him - tell him what the deal is, and see what he says.
