If you're visiting this group, you are probably looking to share some good music with the rest of UG... But where do you start looking? There's 44 000+ mp3s on UG, how can you find the good ones that deserve to be featured?
Well, let me help you out! Here's some tips on where to look:
The Riffs & Recordings forum is always a good place to start, especially the Original Recordings and Covers subforums. Whenever people made a new recording, they show it to the rest of UG by posting a thread there... so, you may find the best and newest recordings in those forums!
Another way to find good mp3s is to browse profiles... Say, have you browsed all the profiles in your friends list, perhaps? Some of them could have recordings up that you like, and that you never even knew about!
A last thing to do is "passively" looking for good music while browsing the forums. We know some of you like to browse the Pit regularly... And I'm sure that when you do, you check out the profiles of some of the posters every day! Well, suppose you stumble across somebody who has a very cool mp3 on their profile? Just take 5 seconds of your time to post it here, you help us all out!
