What is Investopedia? To be it simply, it's an infinitely valuable resource for those of us interested in the investment and stock market sectors of business. This website comes fully loaded with many tutorials covering the basic, intermediate, and advanced levels of investing and financing. http://www.invest opedia.com/univer sity/
To keep this short and open to discussion, there is one final thing I would like to include about Investopedia: The Stock Market Simulator. http://simulator. investopedia.com/
This is the goldmine when it comes to learning how to play the stock market game. Upon creation of an account, you are awarded with 100,000 virtual dollars which you will use to buy and sell various stocks. It is completely in sync with the real stock market, which makes it such a valuable tool. If you've ever wanted to learn how to play the stock market game but were too worried about putting in your own money, this is your chance to learn and open up some great possibilities for your future.
There are other sections on the website which prove to be valuable, so feel free to explore it.
This thread is now open for discussion. I will gladly aid any of those who have any comments or queries.

Microsoft shares are steadily increasing today. Currently at a +1.94% change in one account (1000 shares) and a +2.41% on my other account (200 shares - Should have bought more at this price). Right now, I'm working with earnings of $175 that constantly fluctuates between 100 and 500, though it would be much higher if I didn't listen to my friend and invest 1000 shares in Petsmart (-1.86%, loss of $410). Should see a steady increase soon enough.

edit:
Once we get more members, we should have a thread dedicated solely to Investopedia's Stock Market Simulator so we can compare our accounts and any tips we have to share.

Maybe we can even get a new game going on so we can see who's doing the best.
