alright, I just have a few questions, I have a bullet, with just a humbucker, but it sounds ok, but my friend has offered me a set of fender strat pickups, a pickguard, and all the wiring to do the job, he's been around guitars a while and says that it would sound Godly if I modded it so I have my epi. humbucker with the two fender singles.

Q. 1: Should I buy them for $35, they are practically brand new,

Q. 2: should I try to mod my squire? I could always buy a new one if it doesn't work out...

That's one of the joys of modding Squiers: they're cheap! An HSS Bullet would be different, so why not? $35 is a good price I reckon.<br />

I'm reversing the control plate on my Tele; maybe a TBX and a 4-position switch too.

DOO EEET! Dude, I would DEFINATELY do that (but not to mine, 'cause:

1. It's not a bullet (the cheapest of the cheap
2. It sounds BEAUTIFUL, already (even with the stock pups. I had to get new ones, though, cause I ended up breaking the bobbins...)

And you should do a TBX, as well.

Imo, Go for it! As one of those folks who can't stay away from even the simplest mod ( up until 3 weeks ago, I only had 1 stock guitar, and I have a few) it's fun, and nobody will have one quite like yours Imo, Go for it!
