All 90 of them...

That, to me, is honestly the best part. I don't just want the music, I want the physical manifestation of it too, damn it. Liner notes and artwork FTW!

Well, thanks to my mum/her bf, I have easily over 500 CD's at my disposal, I've only ever download a couple of slipknot albums to give a quick listen, and I plan to buy them soon. 1 or 2 hundred plus one hundred or so old 12" vinyls. I rather carried on where my dad left off. I have new music almost every month, at least. It's all back catalogue music though; most new bands suck IMO. 1 or 2 hundred plus one hundred or so old 12" vinyls. I rather carried on where my dad left off. i got close to 200 CD's, 34 Frank Zappa albums alone

i just bought "Get Up With It" by Miles Davis yesterday

I would just rather own the CD/Record and have an official copy of it. Eventually you'll have an impressive library of music. but if you wanna illegally download music, go for it, i cant stop you, by the government might

I've 1625 songs on my laptop, all of which are ripped from cd's that either belong to me/my parents/brother. I don't rip borrowed/copied cd's or download music.
I've well over 50 albums of my own.

Nearly all of my collection was bought in retail stores, with the exception of a few I ordered straight from the label or artist. About 400 or so in all, so I'm just going to list last week's:

Sonny Landreth - From the Reach

Bela Fleck - Throw Down Your Heart

The Allman Brothers Band - Brothers and Sisters

Pat Metheny Group - Still Life (Talking)

Susan Tedeschi - Back to the River

David Bowie - Alladin Sane

Borders is having a 1/2 off clearance, so I've been busy.

Every single one of them. A long time ago a friend burned a few CD's for me, (like 4), but I bought the album anyway, much better sound quality and the liner notes and all that are a good bonus too. I buy all CDs, never downloads, just because it's nice to have a physical collection. I own 53 myself, either bought from Amazon, Borders, or sometimes Walmart.
I'd list them all but I think you get the point... some on my mind, I bought the whole Weird Al collection, it's great! And a lot of Collective Soul. Otherwise, I buy greatest hits compilations of the classics, so I get a giant variety.

Modest Mouse albums:
This Is A Long Drive For Someone With Nothing To Think About
The Lonesome Crowded West
Building Nothing Out Of Something
The Moon & Antarctica
Everywhere And His Nasty Parlor Tricks
No Ones First And You're Next

I do plan on buying all of their albums once I find them

Also own
Mimicking Birds - S/t (self-titled)

I've owned other CDs before but traded them in when I needed money. I usually like to buy CDs from indie bands but I do download CDs from bigger bands (don't blame me I'm only a teen :P )

The latest one I've bought was Modest Mouse - No One's First and You're Next.
Would be a pain in the ass to list all cd's I've got.

I just started buying CDs so I've only got 30. Mostly metal, but I've got some other stuff too. I've got a Jeff Beck album. My collection keeps growing! I just started buying CDs so I've only got 30. I used to buy a lot of CDs, I stopped though because I started to buy Vinyl instead. I have well over 70 records from many classic rock artists since I started buying records.
