Do you know anyone who actually uses a Hi-Fi as a

Blompcube

I used to record direct into the mic input of my stereo system for recording when i was first experimenting with recording techniques with no experience at all. Then i used to DI the preamp into it. then when i started my music tech course i realised i shouldn't do that because It's stereo amp, and I don't think it's tube. However, for a stereo amp, it is very good. Don't plug guitar into it; just use it as hi-fi if it works.

I think my cousin has been using his guitar into his hi-fi because he doesn't have an amp and doesn't really have time for guitar anymore because he has 2 kids of his own as well as looking after his partners kids from a previous relationship. I'll have to tell him that

Anyone else used to do this or know anyone who does?
