He's pretty cool but what I've heard of him is kinda old fashioned for me. I'm more Rosenwinkel, Mehldau kinda person.

On wednesday I get to play guitar at my school band's spring jazz concert
can't wait!
We're playing Lester Leaps In, Taking the A Train, Jump Jive and Wail, and Little Brown Jug. Some tough chords in Lester Leaps in! Wish me luck

I've always loved that jazz element found in Dream Theater and moreso in liquid tension experiment/trio. I joined just for that.
