Whichever I have lying around, I don't tend to pick very hard to allow for faster playing so the extra thickness of the blacks doesn't mean too much to me Whichever I have lying around, I don't tend to pick very hard to allow for faster playing so the extra thickness of the blacks doesn't mean too much to me

I've actually never gotten to try a red one. Like it got lost before I ever used it so I use blacks. Only thing that sucks is that no stores around me cary anything but Fender picks. I use both, but i prefer the Reds. I don't know why but...they feeling you get from using these picks is awesome. What are the black ones made out of? I know the red is made out of Nylon. After comparing my red to black to tortex I prefer the reds. The black gives a very aggressive attack and the tortex give great control but i prefer the tone of the reds to all the others.
