Satriani, Vai and Gilbert.

Perfect G3 Trio...hmmmm Joe Satriani, Paul Gilbert and Jason Becker( if that were possible). Jason is a brilliant musician, its really very sad that he's no longer able to play guitar. Even with that, he still composes thanks to a very awesome computer that detects his eye movements, allowing to him to communicate in that matter. What would be really cool is have Steve Vai come along on G3 and the 3 of them not only play their stuff, but play some of Jason's songs aswell.

Speaking of G3, what would be the perfect G3 combo?
Mine: Satch, Zakk Wylde, Jimmy Page.

I agree. I hope he does another G3.

Ah yea I'm thinking of going to either Houston or Denver and getting club joe tickets. Compared to other artists premium packages, Joe's are very affordable.

I'm getting regular admission. I don't have a job, and I'm going with the other guitarist in my band and my sister, so they won't be willing to spend too much on tickets. I would if I had the chance.

Mine did not come with a dvd, but I think you can buy a bundle.

Just curious are you getting Club Joe tickets or just general admission?

Ah ya in Toronto October 16th :D Let us know how the show goes. Yes he uses set lists submitted by his fans. I think how he does it is looks at the set lists of the fans that have added their names to the attendee list.

I just bought satriani Live, its amazing. Crowd chant sounds so great, along with live versions of Always with me, always with you. Cool #9 is amazing, super colossal and Ten Words. If you dont have it, get it.

I think you can go to Satriani.com and either request a setlist, or make a setlist showing what you want to hear or something. I will try and find a link.

He's playing at the Massey Hall. I've never been to the venue, but even if it isn't too great, it will be worth. Does he have a set list he uses for all of his shows for this tour or does it change? I would love to hear Love Thing or Ten Words.

I wish I could see him, but I doubt he will come anywhere near LouisVille.
