That's pretty crazy...
Where did you hear this news? I might have to trade in for that... |
And there's an ad for it on the back of this month's Guitar World

Erock503 wrote on Feb 15th, 2008 1:10pmhey fellow Kronies. Word thru the grapevine is they are coming out with another Rev Jr, called the Rev Jr Pro. It has 2 channels with a footswitch! Supposed to be out in June. quote |

I'll have to get out and try to play on a 'stein one day, I think they sound like killer amps. quote |
Erock503 wrote on Jan 2nd, 2008 11:45amhey man, there is a clip up of the new Krankenstein+ in my profile, have a listen. quote |
Erock503 wrote on Dec 20th, 2007 5:55pmawesome man, sounds like a killer little amp. I've heard some really good recordings out of it too since I posted. I have the Krankenstein + now, and I'm loving this thing. Less fuzz on the topend, more punch and tightness. One of their techs told me they used a 1980 JCM clone output and power transformer, so they could put in 6550 tubes instead of the Sovtek 5881. It really seems to have brought out the beast in it. I'm really having a blast! I tried to make a clip today, but ended up clipping my mic something fierce. The lowend response on this thing is HUGE. I had the same mic pre settings I used to record my Mark IV the other day, and it just totally clipped all over it. I won't get to record loud again until next week, but I will have a comparison clip up shortly. quote |
CodySG wrote on Dec 7th, 2007 3:00amIt's really amazing man. It's not like...EXACTLY like the Rev1, but it's pretty darn close. Muther gets LOUD too, yet still has an awesome low volume for practice or late night jams.
Really a great amp to have. quote |
Erock503 wrote on Nov 27th, 2007 5:18pmwow, it's pretty lonely in here man, lol. One of my friends is really interested in the Rev Jr. man. Is it really a Rev1 in a smaller package? Almost sounds ideal for a small metal tube amp. quote |
