Old School or New School?

guitargod1110	Metal's been around for a LONG time and gone through many changes over the years. From old British Invasion stuff to Nu Metal and Throw-back groups. What's your favorite time period and style of metal?   I like all metal, but gotta stick with the roots and say old school. metalisbest	80's thrash and after... but not that glam/hair metal crap. That was the rap of its day, if you get what im saying. <br /> <br /> I dont like a lot of the new stuff out there though, like Black and Death[Napalm Death, Cannibal Corpse]... since I do like to understand the singers a little bit. Which is the draw to band like Slayer, Metallica, Megadeth, and Anthrax. Who started it all.	80's thrash and after... but not that glam/hair metal crap. That was the rap of its day, if you get what im saying. <br /> <br /> I dont like a lot of the new stuff out there though, like Black and Death[Napalm Death, Cannibal Corpse]... since I do like to understand the singers a little bit.
