a fricking beatles song. I learned the piano chords for Hey Jude. That doesn't really count though. The first song that I learned the actual music to was Hit the Floor by Linkin Park. That was when I started to grow out and away from the Beatles and started to develop a taste for hard rock and metal and stuff like that. |

Well, I figured out how to read tabs all by myself while looking at a tab I printed out for "Sad Statue" by System of a Down. I couldn't play it though (I didn't know what a hammer-on was, I just figured out what the numbers and lines meant). The first song I actually learned was either "Swing Life Away" by Rise Against or "Good Riddance" by Green Day. My musical tastes have progressed a lot since then... |
