wow, this is a tough one... I've got a million favorites, but here goes anyway.
Neil Young - He's far from being technically proficient, but he puts so much emotion into it that his guitar says just as much as he does. Combine it with absolutely amazing songwriting, and you have one of the greatest musicians in history.
Slash - What can I say that hasn't been said a billion times over? Great blues/rock player, and if it wasnt for him I'd be very different than I am today.
Dimebag - Amazing shredder, but has a bluesy undertone that a lot of shredders lack. He even showed Jazz influences on Pantera's cover of "Planet Caravan". |

Ignore the fact that I'm with John Petrucci in my pic. He's top 10, but not top 3.
