I've always played the guitar right handed but I'm having a hard time with picking and all so now I'm trying to learn left handed and see if that works out

I'm a lefty for life, can't do shit with my right hand or foot. But since day one of picking up a guitar I've played right-handed. It's been 7 years now so I'm committed, but when i get really stoned i just flip my guitar and try playin like Dick Dale even though i'm terrible playin lefty and with the strings flipped.

Im glad to see that my group is still doing well and growing. Ive been on a little Ultimate Guitar hiatus due to school, work, concerts, and my own band projects. That and taking up the drums took up alot of time.

Guys, if you want cheap lefties, there is a place called Rondo Music. I have ordered from there many times myself, its a great place and the guitars are pretty good.

Adirondack Guitars is a good place as well, very lefty friendlly.

that actually is a bit annoying, but on the other hand, when I see a lefty guitar in a store - I feel as if I had found a treasure or something - I somehow feel happy inside

There is one thing us lefties should be thankful of.... The simple fact that since most companies do very limited runs on left handed guitars, they seem to make absolutely certain that the quality control is top notch.

I've got a grand total of 8 guitars, 2 Gibsons, a Les Paul, and an ES 335, and comparing either to their right handed equivalent and mine are superior in every way, better tone, better neck, the actual build quality of the guitars are dramatically better as well. The same goes for the rest of my guitars, although the difference isn't quite as dramatic as it is with the Gibsons, there still is a noticeable difference in quality.

sure, it's harder to find guitars and whatnot, but it's worth it. lefties shouldn't be forced to do everything the so-called "right" way. i'm glad there's a group for this so us lefties can stand up for what we believe in.
