Dude, I don't know much about the LP 100's but generally, it seems the closer you get to your hands and the farther away from the listener's ears, the less dramatic effect on the sound. The Amp, which is the last part of the signal chain before hitting the lister's ears is gonna have the largest noticeable effect. If you have a lousy amp, even a good guitar can sound pretty bad. A good amp can make most guitars sound good.

If you got a decent amp, maybe changing out the pickups will improve sound.

If you're not concerned with sound, but looks, well you can do all kinds of stuff,

What's your purpose for wanting to mod it anyway? Sound, Looks, Feel?

I want too generally improve the sound, but i'm willing to splurge on looks too
I have a good amp a "Laney Hard core max" 200w's
and lp 100's arnt the best epi's but they arnt the worst either

well, what i did to my guitar was awesome.... i put glow in the dark stickers on my guitar and at nightime it is awesome!!!!!!!! and i quickly lit some sparklers ( i don't know if you know what they are or not ) and quickly sticky taped it to the back of the headstock and while i was playing the sparkler was still going, it looked fucking awesome aswell. i hope that starts some ideas
you can bow down to me ideas now hahaha
