why not as popular?

Toadstool5	Soundagrden was one of the first and best grunge bands but when anyone thinks of grunge all they think of is Nirvana and Pearl Jam. Why isn't Soundgarden as popular? Iheartnirvana	because their lead singer didn't kill himself jk. It's the same question for the brother Meat Puppets. Only a little bit of grunge fans have heard of them. hellfire21	its mostly cuz Soundgarden was 1 of the heavier Grunge bands, unlike Nirvana and Pearl jam, who were VERY melodic and not AS heavy as Soundgarden.
