zhille wrote on Nov 29th, 2009 7:31pmHi there, I'm not a bassist, but a bass lover, and a guitarist playing in a low al fourths tuning. I especially adore those 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and more string basses, and I'm a big fan of cello and double bass. I find those the most interesting instruments besides guitar. I'd play one of those n-string basses too if I could afford to buy one
I also enlisted because I am making an all-fourths tuning dedicated site, and I'm thinking about making a bass part of the site. Some things I'm transcribing now could be very useful to a bass playing musician.
Greetings from Novi Sad, Serbia. quote |

SynGates14 wrote on Jun 26th, 2009 4:42amHi there guys. I currently don't play bass but I'm getting one in the next week and have a few questions. I've played guitar for 2 years, will that be helpful when I start on bass?
I play mostly deathcore, grindcore, and metal of all sorts and have a budget of $1000. I need suggestions on what good bass for me would be.
All help is greatly appreciated quote |

Or Jack White, because he doesn't have a good bassist or drummer.
