ESP Bass Owners

CaptnWar

I admit, I don't own a bass. But I wanted to ask bass players a question.

I have been playing guitar for a few years off and on, just this past year finally starting to take it pretty serious.
And now that I am wanting to jam with some people, I keep running into the same old problem; everyone plays guitar. So obvious next step, play bass instead.
Even back in high school I took guitar class (classical style) for a couple semesters. And back then I had everyone (even my old buddy, current bassist for the punk/ska band Angry Agency) telling me I should play bass. Although I am a pretty small person (5'), my hands and more importantly fingers, just love bass strings. Other then getting used to the size, my hands and soul were just made to play bass.

So now that I have this guitar (RG321MH), I really don't want to give it up. But at the same time, I am short on cash and would do just about anything to have a bass.

My question is finally this, what do people with ESP basses (looking at the lower end models) think of them? Are they worth it? or should I be looking for something else, like an Ibanez?

Probably best to send me a message, as I may not check this group too often.

THANKS DUDES/DUDETTES
