I walk into my local Music Store, and am sourrounded by MGs. They have EVERY type of MG you can imagine. And when it's not an MG, it's an AVT. And right in the middle of the MGs is the PedalBoard Of Death: A load of Behringer Pedals. Luckily, I got a much better amp for a third of the price I paid for the AVT. I gave the AVT to the rhythm guitarist in my band, saying it would be best to get a better amp as soon as possible. However, now he keeps buying new guitars, hating them for 'Sounding like shit'. Seriously, I don't know why he bothers learning the songs if he's going to use that amp; it doesn't cut through at all. Actually, screw that; it sounds like bees eating cake, I cannot hear a note he's playing, even at full volume, he could be bashing the open strings for all I know.

Every store is taken over by the MGs... .you rarely see any Marshall tube amps any more. But seriously, I am turned off from Marshall because of this amp. There are only 2 Marshalls I would play: The Kerry King model, and the original Valvestate (R.I.P. Chuck).
The only way I would actually play a Marshall, is if it was modeled by something like the Randall MTS amps, or if it was one of the Ceriatone copies.
