Jason Becker in my opinion. For the fact that,for those 3-4 years he had recognition for, he accomplished more then what most (if not,ALL) guitarist can say for themselves. If it weren't for ALS I think he'd be at the Top. (God Bless)

fuck this is hard..........well with the top guitarists that come to mind are Tony Iommi, Dime-bag, Kerry King, Dave mustaine, Eddi Van Halen, Randy Rhoads, Zakk Wylde, Jimmy Paige............but for metals greatest guitarist..............Tony Iommi hands down......can't beat the guy that really started it all.
