If you have been to any metal concerts before, which one is your favourite one and why?

I would have to say personally a metal band from where i liv called thrasher that rock these small venues like they are huge arenas!

Probably Cannibal Corpse at Irving Plaza N.Y. We were lucky because Behemoth agreed to open for them that night (they weren't on the tour but apparently they are good friends). Christians To the Lions and Hammer Smashed face were two of the greatest pits I have ever been to. I even got to floor a hardcore kid during CC's set :D . Had to stand through Job For a Cowboy but it was definitely worth it. Psyopus and The Red Chord also played.

I would've said Summer Slaughter with Necrophagist, Decapitated, Cattle Decapitation, The Faceless and Cephalic Carnage but the venue was lame and didn't allow moshing.

Okay, I'm coming clean. I've never been to a metal concert.. just Molly Hatchet. But I expect to go see The Absence, CC, The Red Chord, BDM, and I think another group on October 9th. Even though the venue was bullshit, that summer slaughter tour gave me the sudden urge to rip out my heart and sacrifice it to the Metal Gods. It was consistantly good. Five hours of quality.  Even though the venue was bullshit, that summer slaughter tour gave me the sudden urge to rip out my heart and sacrifice it to the Metal Gods. It was consistantly good. *Banned and Blocked for mentioning Hellyeah in this forum*Look at the group description and realize that this group is for metal only.  I'd rather have 10 tr00 members than 180 Jews (take note "Metal group").In other words...HELLNO *Banned and Blocked for mentioning Hellyeah in this forum*Look at the group description and realize that this group is for metal only.  I'd rather have 10 tr00 members than 180 Jews (take note "Metal group").In other words...HELLNO

Ozzfest owned hard. Daath were the best band there by a long shot, but the only bands there that outright sucked were Lordi, Static-X, and In This Moment (yes, Lamb of God and Ankla did good, despite their un-metalness). GWAR was an amazing show, just for the show though, not the music
Slayer probably wins just because its Slayer
but even though Dream Theater might not be metal enough, it was the best concert ive ever been to

back in my teenage years.. morbid angel was probably one of the better concerts i've seen. Incantation had opened for them and they destroyed. another good one was Kataklysm. some band from toronto opened for them.. they were pretty bunk.. the local bands tore them apart. but kataklysm definitely made it worth my 10 bucks. back in my teenage years.. morbid angel was probably one of the better concerts i've seen.
