What would you do?
What I'd do is remove all those stupid dating shows, perhaps postpone them until after midnight so they don't annoy anyone.
I'd try to get all sorts of different styles. I'm sure most of UG will just play metal all day, but you gotta have a mix of styles so many people will enjoy it.
I'd play different styles in alternating order, like, if I have a rock song now, the next one will be hip-hop, then maybe some electronic song, and RnB and so on.
I would have some shows during the day, cos it's hard to pick, like, 1000 music videos to play, but they'd have to be music-related shows. I think biographical stuff is nice. Access All Areas can be quite interesting. Artist interviews, perhaps. And Making the Video is cool.
But no stupid 100 best songs of all tiem LOL lists. They're just loaded with fail.
Oh, and at 10 o'clock I'd have South Park, closely followed by Jackass, or something.

And of course I'd burn all the rap shit and if anyone tryed to tell me to play that ghetto shit I'd tell them there's BET for that. I seriously can't tell the difference anymore between the two. And I'd bring in some lesser known stuff. And of course I'd put a show on for wizard rock  |

Make it more like Channel V and Max in Australia. They play a good mixture of mainstream stuff, indie rock, alt rock, folk, metal and everything in between.
So basically, I wouldn't change MTV because there are already two good music channels. |
