Ultraturtle0 wrote on Sep 3rd, 2007 10:38amI always thought a rock song with a "noise" guitar solo would be amazing. Like, control feedback with a whammy bar, scratch the tremolo springs with your pick, wah muted strings, do rhythmic pick scrapes (like a turntable), etc. quote |
Of_Wolves wrote on Sep 1st, 2007 12:57pmAs long as it sounds like it has a point, or was fun to make then Noise is pretty good lol quote |
XibanezedgeX wrote on Sep 1st, 2007 12:21pmI can't get into it either... Don't feel sorry
I guess I like my noise a bit less noisey... quote |
Of_Wolves wrote on Sep 1st, 2007 12:10pmThanks Turtle, For something that was recorded through an effects pedel it turned out pretty damn good quality didn't it haha quote |
Ultraturtle0 wrote on Aug 31st, 2007 10:00pmWow Of_Wolves... that was really out there. I don't mean that in a bad way either. The flute part in the first half was pretty cool, and it was really good recording quality.
XibanezedgeX, I'm sorry, but that was pretty messed up. I like the idea of simple guitar noise, and it would be awesome if it was a "guitar solo" as we would think of one entirely comprised of noise (with background instruments and rhythmic lead noise parts), but no offense; that wasn't musical to me. Sorry.
In other news, POST STUFF PEOPLE! quote |

Hey we were talking about experimental stuff earlier weren't we, so I thought I'd draw your attention to something me and a friend just got done recording. http://artists.ultimate-guitar.com/stuckforaname/
Its called "Ho ho", for lack of a better name. Perhaps something like Tawny Owl would have worked better but never mind haha. Its pretty much as experimental as you can get lol I will take no responsiblity for any bleeding ears caused to peeps who don't really like this sort of stuff. ^_^;; quote |
